With so many Newborn photographers in the Austin area you may be asking yourself “How do I know which one to choose?” You may want to make your decision based on the number of social media followers a photographer has, or their session fee, but those are literally just numbers. When selecting your Newborn photographer, I advise you look at the experience offered. You want to feel comfortable behind the camera and trust that your photographer will capture you in the best light. Keep reading to learn about the SRP experience and how I serve my clients.
As a creative drawn to storytelling (I actually have a Masters in Creative Writing) and a former contributor to a national wedding magazine, I have a unique understanding of visual storytelling and approach each photograph with a refined eye for detail. When I transitioned my business to Motherhood photography I sought to add elements that would enrich my clients’ experience, elements that I wish had been available to me as an expectant and then new Momma.
Wardrobe Assistance
Upon booking, clients can expect not only wardrobe styling assistance for themselves and their family members, but access to my Client Closet where expectant and new Mommas can borrow a dress from sizes XS to 2XL. Having access to pieces that are known to be flattering and photograph beautifully provides peace of mind for my clients and helps them to invest in other areas.
Hair and Makeup
On the day of your session I highly encourage clients to commission my preferred hair and makeup artist who will arrive at your home to pamper you and help you get ready and I’ll handle all of the arrangements. Once the preparations are finished we’ll have a stress-free portrait session.
Image Delivery
Within 3 weeks of a session clients receive a full gallery of edited high resolution images that they can download at their convenience. From my personal client experience it’s a daunting task to select a limited number of images to stay within a desired price point and it feels overwhelming to know you are leaving images in your gallery behind.
Artwork
Once the full gallery is delivered, artwork preferences and offerings are revisited (these are discussed prior to a client’s session and included in my Investment Guide) and artwork orders are placed. My clients can trust that their images will be safely preserved in my Fine Art linen albums printed on giclee matte paper, or if they choose Matted Prints that their photographs are printed on lustre paper with museum grade matting for ease updating their gallery walls and frames. By providing my clients artwork services I help ensure that their memories are safely preserved in their desired form.
