As an Austin lifestyle photographer my approach to newborn sessions is to authentically document families. Whether its in your home capturing every detail of the nursery, a classic white studio for timeless photographs, or outdoors to embrace the seasons, your photographs will transport you back in time.
For families wanting to document the milestones throughout baby's first year I do offer a membership, The Milestone Collection. Families in the membership receive an exclusive album and print credit as well as priority booking.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN SESSION?
I recommend scheduling your Newborn Session within the first month of baby's life to ensure the tiniest details can be captured. Babies are also sleepiest in the first 2 weeks when they are home from the hospital. I will add that some mommas find they need more time to feel physically ready for portraits and schedule their session a few weeks after baby's birth. I am here to support you and what works best for your family.
What if my baby is premature?
I recommend waiting to schedule your newborn session until your baby is the adjusted age of 2 weeks old, or the average weight of a newborn. This time allows your baby to grow eye lashes, eyebrows, and fingernails, and to fill out those newborn clothes.
WHAT IF MY BABY IS Older than 2 Weeks?
The newborn phase lasts up 3 months! The older baby is the more you can expect a more expressive and sometimes predictable baby!
